not that anyone's really missed me, i'm sure. this isn't one of those blogs you desperately need to check as soon as it's updated. like spencer's. or cha-chi's. i really should change max's link on my page to cha-chi. meh, it'll get done.
and of course when i say that i mean not at all. but know i thought about it.
the purpose of this post is more to share a revelation of mine than anything else. i've been listening to a lot of music from my great friend m dunne, and whilst listening to kings of convenience "i don't know what i can save you from", i thought of something. the title of their albulm this song is on is "quiet is the new loud", and once i got past the initial "that's amusing" reflex, i thought about it.
it used to be that to be heard, people with ideas had to be loud. people had to scream and shout and turn up their stereos as loud as it would go to get past the monotony that kept everyone so quiet. but now, in this time of extreme noise, where not even an empty country road is quiet for long, to be heard and taken seriously, you have to be quiet. it's all about being different. breaking the norm to express yourself. hmm. interesante. and i'm sure all of you have already thought of this and i'm just slow, but let me revel in this for a moment.

cha-chi and i had a great IM conversation in which we decided he is in fact, the human form of peanut brittle. all natural and made with honey. i am dark chocolate. not everyone likes me and i'm acquired taste. and so i pose the question to you? what sweet are you and why?

hmmm what am i?...
i think i am green apple/blue raspberry fun dip. sweet, entertainig, colorful, kind of funny. there's more to it than one would assume, and it's always changing. but after too long it can become a little overwhelming.
and as for the word, im pretty sure its not number 3, since i probably would have been there, and i dont remember that.
so it's either 1 or 2.
and i love love love the kings of convenience. I Don't Know What I Can Save You From is possibly my favorite song. ever.

I dunno what kind of food I am like(maybe that carmel covered chex cuz I can't think of any other food, lol), BUT! when one is as hungry as I 15 minutes before lunch, thinking about food is a bad idea.
